Complete targets to place “X”s on the Tic-Tac-Toe board, winning award 50K + the lit award (including Bonus X advances). With the Bonus X at 3X or higher, shoot the center lane to score 15K and place the ball in the plunger lane, after plunging and playing the mini-playfield the bonus will be collected when the ball drains to the main playfield.
Full plunge to the mini-playfield on the upper left and hit a target to start a 10-second timer.
Mini-Playfield
From a full plunge the ball will travel to the mini-playfield in the upper left
Hit as many black drop targets as possible, after the first drop target is hit a 10-second timer begins
At the end of the timer the flipper will disable and the ball will drain to the main playfield
Each drop target hit adds 1K times bonus multiplier to bonus
The bonus is collected when the ball passes over the switch on the drain out of the mini-playfield
Hitting 7 drop targets will award an “X” on the Tic-Tac-Toe board
Hitting 10 drop targets instantly wins the Tic-Tac-Toe game
Tic-Tac-Toe
Notice the 9 positions of the Tic-Tac-Toe board on the playfield art work are numbered from 1 (upper left) to 9 (bottom right)
You will play an “X” when shooting specific game features and the machine will then play “O”
Note: The machine cannot place an “O” on the center spot
Ways to place and “X”, as long as an “O” not in that position:
1: complete left mid-playfield white drop targets bank
2, 6, or 8: any inlane or the right side lane to the right of the pops
3: the standup target behind the left drop bank or the right mid-playfield standup target
4: the far left kickback lane
5 or 7: complete 7 drop targets in the mini-playfield
7: complete the red drop target bank in the upper center of the playfield
9: Collect the lit 1-2-3 standup targets in the upper right
Winning or tying the Tic-Tac-Toe game awards 50K points, gives the lit award on the inserts above the board, and them advances the award light to the next award level
Level 1: Bonus X is set to 1 + 5K points
Level 2: Bonus X is set to 2 + 10K points
Level 3: Bonus X is set to 3 + extra ball (50K)
Level 4: Bonus X is set to 4 + 20K points
Level 5: Bonus X is set to 5 + special (50K) - and resets the award level to 2
Losing a Tic-Tac-Toe game moves the award light down 1 level
Bonus and Bonus X
Winning or tying a Tic-Tac-Toe game will advance Bonus X, shown on the lit insert above the board
Since bonus is collected when leaving the mini-playfield, a good strategy is to make the center lane shot when bonus and bonus X is high to plunge into the mini-playfield again and collect bonus on the way to the main playfield.
Base bonus is reset when collecting on the way out of the mini-playfield, however Bonus X is not.
Main Playfield Drop Target Banks
Each unlight drop target scores 500 and a bonus advance, a lit drop target scores 5K and a bonus advance
Complete a bank to reset it, light it, and open the gate on the right outlane
