These pinball “cards” began as a personal project, an attempt to provide an easily digestible reference for competitive pinball strategy. One of the best things about the pinball community is the camaraderie and I thought I would make these cards available to anyone that was interested.
This is version 2 of JLP’s Pinball Cards. I’ve developed a pinball strategy content management system, which gives me great flexibility or how I can present the data. The first version used Craft, which is great for taking notes and managing tasks, yet had limitations for the way I wanted to present pinball strategies. I still use Craft everyday for a number of other projects, and was the source of all the data contained in this site.
As you know, rulesets vary greatly in their complexity and depth, and knowing which sequence of shots will be the most beneficial is crucial to higher scoring results.
While these rulesets are frequently updated, not all machines represented here have the same level of research and depth, so your milage may vary. Additionally, modern machines often have multiple strategies available to pursue and explaining every detail would quickly become unwieldily. The goal is not to provide an exhaustive list, yet rather an approachable strategy.
