Pick Will Turner for 5X skill shot, plunge to the ship for skill shot. Always be stacking MBs with MBs and modes. Look for gold on display and rapidly bash action button to collect and get to Tortuga MB. Qualify multiple modes and shoot mode qualifying multiple times to improve mode value before starting at the Star Map shot). At Worlds End MB can be very valuable if you can combo Left ramp and Bayou shots.

Ragetti: When you put a ball into the upper PF, hit the action button to start a 2-ball MB, scoring is halved when in 2-ball play
James Norrington: Easier chapter rules (ie. standup next to ramp counts as ramp), reduces value of chapters (by half)
Blackbeard: longer MB save
Hector Barbossa: Easier MB rules, Jackpots worth less
Bootstrap Bill: Easier Chest MB qualifying, and makes Chest MB worth more
Modes:
Start mode (“chapter”) is the cove to the right of the chest at the top of the playfield (Star Map shot)
5 shots each qualify a chapter, color coded to each of the 5 movies. If you have multiple modes qualified, a random qualified mode will start at the Star Map shot
Left orbit shot (purple Devil’s Triangle) - Dead Men Tell No Tales
Left ramp (red Maelstrom) - At World’s End
Left of chest, right of upper flipper ( yellow Port Royal) - Curse of Black Pearl
Up the center, green Chest shot - Dead Man’s Chest
Loop from upper flipper (blue Fountain of Youth) - On Stranger Tides
Each mode starts at 1K per mode shot - keep making mode qualifying shots before making the cove shot to increase the value - shoot left scoop to hold modes value for the game
For each shot made in a mode, you can collect gold coins by hitting the action button
The more modes qualified the higher the multiplier during mode play (each adds .5X)
Multiballs: (can stack MBs)
Dead Men Tell No Tales MB (purple): shoot spinner to qualify, same shot to start. During MB, roving purple shot is Jackpot, qualifies a Super JP at left orbit
🥇At World’s End MB (red): Shoot all 9 shots to light a red arrow insert to qualify MB, then shoot left ramp to start. Collect Jackpots at left ramp, after each JP, Super JP is ready under the upper right flipper (Bayou)
Curse of Black Pearl MB (yellow): hardest MB. Qualified upper playfield by sinking the other ship (see below for upper PF rules) Jackpots are shooting the ship, Super JP by shooting the hole in the ship
Dead Man’s Chest MB (green): hit two standup targets on either side of chest shot, then shoot chest to lock a ball, lock 3 balls to start. At start of MB, all multiplier inserts are lit, hit one of them to determine the number of JPs needed to collect before Super JP available at Chest shot. Goal is to shoot 2X so only 2 JPs before Super JP ready.
On Stranger Tides (blue): Upper loop shot work toward MB qualifying, then loop again to start. During MB, loop shots award Jackpot, loop to chest combos award Double JP, Orbit to loop combos award Triple JP. After enough JPs, lock a ball at chest, upper loop, or right orbit and then bash locked ball to score Super JP
Tortuga MB:
When ever the display shows gold, mash the action button repeatedly to collect it all
When enough gold (50 to start) has been collected MB is ready to start at right scoop
All major shots are Jackpots, after enough collects, Super JP at right saucer
