Strategy

Hasselhoff Strategy

Concentrates on closing beaches, playing encounters, and getting to Rescue MB

  • Light gear and collect binoculars

    • On a premium / LE machine, start by shooting the Wave ramp to then hit the upper reel and select “light gear” award.

    • On a pro machine, roll through mini-flipper lane on right, then shoot the far left lane (harpoon shot), finally hit the popped up fin to score a quick-shot and light gear collect.

    • Using the right flipper to select binoculars, shoot the right ramp to collect them, they light 2 beach goers when hitting stand-up targets

  • Now shoot the wave ramp (left ramp) to get the “C” in ORCA and qualify Quint Shack

  • Next focus on closing the right ramp and center ramp beaches, then begin the Night Swim encounter, followed by Beach Panic and Raft Attack.

  • Close the remaining beaches and play Rescue MB

Skill Shot

Level 1: Plunge into the pop bumper for 5M.

Level 2: Plunge into the lane above the mini-flipper, without hitting the bumper, for 10M + light gear

Level 3: Shoot any target on the flashing left target bank, without any other switch hits, for 15M + light gear

Ruleset

Closing Beaches

  • Hit stand-up targets on either side of reel to light beach goers at the right and center ramps, make the shot to collect the beach goer.

  • After 3 collects on a shot, a hurry up begins on that same shot (starts at 15M). Collect as soon as possible to close the beach and increase value of that shot until Resuce MB starts.

Shark Encounters are the main modes, qualify by hitting the captive ball / boat to light the 5 major shots for mode start.

  • On Premium / LE machines the shark comes up under the boat to indicate encounters are ready

  • Before starting a mode, hit the captive ball / shark to boost encounters, ideally 3 times to get to 2X encounter scoring

  • Shoot any of the 5 beach shots to start, complete all modes at pop up fin when enough shots completed

    • 🥇Night Swim (left spinner) - make blue or cyan shots until fin is up, hit to finish mode. If you miss fin, hit captive ball / boat to finish

    • ⭐️ Beach Panic (wave ramp, to right of left orbit) - make 8 lit shots, then wave shot and hit raised fin to complete.

    • Scars (center ramp) - First 2 phases hit any 2 lit shots, during 3rd phase hit any of the three drop targets on the left to raise fin, hit fin to collect largest bonus.

    • Pond Attack (reel spinner) - lit shots add build value at reel shot, after hitting reel immediately make the harpoon shot (farthest left lane via left orbit) to 2X the award. Collect 3 reel awards to raise fin, hit to collect largest bonus.

    • ⭐️ Raft Attack (right ramp) - shoot left or right ramp to raise fin, continue shooting combos while fin is raised to multiply the value, collect at fin before it drops. Collect 3 fin awards to raise fin for largest bonus collect.

Rescue MB

  • Once all 5 beaches have been closed the ball will drain and you are given the choice to play Rescue or Search, choose 🥇Rescue

  • Shot flashing shots to collect 1x, 2X, or 3X jackpots based on the number of beachgoers saved there.

  • A blue shot indicates where the shark is, shoot it to divert the shark, otherwise he will eat a beachgoer.

  • After all 15 beachgoers are collected or eaten, super JP is qualified by hitting the boat captive ball, then collect by hitting fin target (fin target can be hit repeatedly for collects until it times out)

  • Add-a-ball by hitting chum bucket 6 times

Additional Scoring

  • Reel spinner will light Bounty Hunt at the right ramp, Mako shark is the easier to complete.

    • Complete the required shots to qualify the fishing reel to start Bounty Hunt MB

    • During MB, hit green shots then bash the captive ball / shark to collect.

    • Hitting reel spinners between shots and collect increase the collect value

    • After final shot made (reel always lit for final shot) hit captive ball to collect the bounty and Celebration MB will start

    • During Celebration MB, shot flashing green shots. Super JP is lit at captive ball / shark shot after making 2 shots. Hitting additional shots before collecting super JP increases value

  • Jaws MB

    • Hit the captive ball below the chum bucket to start chum line, indicated by red shots. Collect those shots until the chum line is full.

    • Yellow shots will light, hitting any of these stops the ball on the left in-lane and raises the fin

    • Shoot the fin to attach a barrel to the shark

    • Now shoot any lit yellow shots to start MB

    • During MB, shoot any flashing red shots to collect JP, after 3 collects a super JP shot will alternate red andyellow, collecting any other shots before collect adds to super JP value
