Scoring Exploit: The Bally code (final version: 2.1) has a scoring exploit commonly referred to as the Challenge Exploit. Shoot a lit blue shot to earn a car part, then shoot the Pit to start a Challenge, the pit will turn red after 6 seconds, shoot the Pit again and then DO NOT touch the flippers when the displays says to do so, instead you will be given 255M + challenge value.
Spam the Challenge Exploit or collect cars via Corvette Challenges and play LT-5 Multiball. Collect 9 cars to start Puzzle Challenge wizard mode. Make Track Combos to collect Racetracks. Bonus can be large so don't tilt.
🥇Plunge the ball to the flashing top lane, move flasher with the flippers. Awards 5M and each subsequent skill shot is worth +5M more.
Secret skill shot enabled by playing a paradiddle starting on the left flipper. Left, Right, Left, Left - then plunge and use the upper flipper to shoot the upper loop or side ramp for 10M
Corvette Challenge: Hit the blue flashing shot to qualify and collect a car part, Pit scoop will light green. Shoot the Pit to start the challenge.
During challenge, shoot major shots, spinner, or rapidly hit the flipper buttons to speed up your blue car on the track. Shots to previously collected car parts add a speed bonus.
After 6 seconds into the challenge the Pit will light red, repeatedly pressing the flippers adds speed to your car when it leaves the pit stop. Or, you can exploit the Challenge Exploit (see above)
LT-5 Multiball: Shoot left orbit to qualify locks at the Engine ramp (Left Ramp). The first MB only requires 1 left orbit to light all 3 locks. The second MB each lock is lit individually, and for the third MB the lock is lit on a 15 second timer.
Lock 3 balls and Rev Mode begins, rapidly mash the flipper buttons to increase Rev value, ends after 8 seconds.
During MB, jackpots are the upper loop (50M) and side ramp (30M). Make both to re-qualify jackpots and +20M value each.
If not jackpots collected before draining to 1 ball, a 10 second restart is available by shooting the engine ramp, begins a 2-ball MB.
Puzzle Challenge: Wizard mode: Collect 9 cars to start.
Make 8 shots to orange shots, where 2 are at the Engine ramp to lock a ball, and the last shot is to engine ramp, right ramp, or Pit scoop to complete the puzzle.
Completing the puzzle qualifies Puzzle MB, pops are worth 1M each
Plunge a 4th ball to start
Shoot engine ramp for jackpot on repeat (25M times # of balls in play)
After draining to 1-ball, you must collect 9 cars to re-qualify
Route 66: Every 2nd shot to the right ramp gives a Route 66 award always in the following order.
1, 5, 10: 20 seconds to make each of 4 shots. Completion is 230M and starts a 2-ball MB
2: Spots a car
3, 8: Hurry-up shot to the Pit, completing starts a 2-ball MB where shots to the Pit award the collected value.
4, 9: Pop bumpers worth 1M for remainder of ball
6, 11: Advances Bonus X (2X, 4X, 6X, 8X, or 10M+5M, max at 50M)
7, 12: 25M points
13: Instant special (awarded one time per game)
Spark Plugs: Making orange shots awards a Spark Plug. Collect 8 to be awarded either 20M or light Race Today at right ramp.
Race Today: Video mode: Hold left flipper for gas, use right flipper to shift to win the drag race. Win the race to start a 2-ball MB where all ramps score 15M for duration of MB.
Track Combos: 2 and 3-shot combos that award 6-12M or 20-24M respectively. Collecting a combo awards a Racetrack + 4M bonus, future collections include value of previously collected Racetracks during ball in play.
