Complete the upper left bank of drop targets to advance Bonus X to the 5X max early as Bonus X carries over ball-to-ball. Build bonus by collecting GREATEST letters at the standup targets, inlanes, and star rollover. This will also boost the value of the left lower drop bank completion. Now collect bonus and bonus X on repeat at the right dead-end lane saucer.
Plunge to collect a letter in ALI you don'y yet have, when in doubt the L saucer can be worth some points, increased by ALI completions.
Bonus X
Since Bonus X carries between balls it is important to build this very early in the game by completing the upper left bank of drop targets. Max 5X
Each target scores 500 and each completion of the 3-bank is worth +5K (max: 20K) more than the last and a +1 to Bonus X
Shooting the top bank by ricocheting off the lower bank is a good strategy
Bonus Collect Saucer
Located in the dead-end lane on the right, this saucer is available at any time to collect current bonus and bonus X and does not reset upon collection
Lower Drop Target Bank
Each target scores 500 and a completion is worth the current star value in front of the bank times the number of collected letters in GREATEST
Each completion increases the star value by 2K until it reaches the max of 10K
GREATEST and ALI Letter Collection
Landing in the top saucers collects a letter in ALI, collect them all to increase and the value of the L saucer is worth 5K, then 10K
Collect GREATEST letters from the standup targets, the inlanes, and the star rollover (which rotates the letter awarded), also award bonus advance
Collecting GREATEST letters increases the value of the lower drop target bank completion
Any collected letters are carried from ball-to-ball

The left lane scores 1K + 1K for each collected letter in GREATEST
